Free searches sweep a circle around your pin (up to 50 m). Paid searches unlock radii up to 500 m, or can instead use the registered Land Registry title boundary — or a boundary you draw yourself: the polygon is tested for intersection against the national planning datasets, and the remaining sources sweep a circle that fully contains it — so a designation clipping the far corner of a large garden or paddock is still caught. Parcel boundaries are HM Land Registry index polygons (indicative, not precise legal boundaries).

Search an address in the tool, then buy the pass from the report panel. It unlocks the Full Survey Report and CSV for that address for 30 days — handy if you adjust the pin or radius and want to re-export. One-off payment, no account needed.

£49/month (or £490/year) buys one shared workspace with five seats — flat, whether you fill two or five. Everything in Pro for everyone on it, plus a shared site pipeline: stages, assignees and comments on the sites your practice is actually working. Each person signs in as themselves, which is the point — you can see who moved what, and nobody is passing one login around. Clients and outside consultants can be added as free read-only guests without using a seat. Branded reports and client portals are rolling out through this release and are included as they arrive.

You get an email with a link to claim the workspace: sign in with the address you paid with (creating an account if you have not got one), claim the owner seat, then invite up to four colleagues by email. Team is the only thing here that needs an account — the free checker and the £9.99 Site Report Pass stay completely account-free. Removing someone frees their seat immediately. Need more than five seats? Email us and we will sort it out properly rather than sell you a sixth.

£99/month (or £990/year) for fifteen seats and everything Team has, plus the three things a practice outgrows Team for: bulk CSV screening (500 rows a month included), API keys so constraint screening runs inside your own systems (1,000 screens a month included), and a white-label client portal — your logo, your colours, and our "Produced with Planning Constraints" credit removed from what your clients see. Guests stay free and uncounted, so fifteen seats means fifteen colleagues, not fifteen people who can read a portal.

No, and it never will. The attribution lines — planning.data.gov.uk (MHCLG), Historic England, Natural England, the Environment Agency, HM Land Registry, and the Open Government Licence notice — are licence obligations we hold to the data providers, not our branding. They stay on every report and every portal page at every tier. White-label removes our own product credit, which is a different thing entirely, and the two are separate blocks in the page precisely so they cannot be confused. The downloadable PDF and Word report keep our footer credit as well.

Your existing workspace is upgraded in place: the same board, the same sites, files, portals, timeline and people. Nobody re-claims anything and nobody signs in again. Seats go from five to fifteen and the Practice features unlock on the next page load — the tier is read from your organisation record on every request, so there is no cookie to wait out. If you later downgrade, it takes effect at the end of the billing period: nobody is removed from the workspace, but new invites are capped back at five and the Practice-only surfaces stop.

Not yet. Portal white-label — your branding, our credit gone — is available now; a client portal served from your own domain is on the roadmap and we would rather not promise a date for it than miss one. If it is a deal-breaker for you, tell us and it moves up the list.

If a report fails to generate or the data is materially wrong, email us and we will refund or fix it — whichever you prefer. Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime and remain active to the end of the billing period.
